Step 1 · Sign & deposit

Contract signed, deposit sent.

$500 to kick off. We don't overcomplicate the final sales step — sign, pay, and we're moving.

Step 2 · Slack + kickoff

Slack Connect within the hour. Kickoff the next day.

We open a Slack Connect channel and book the kickoff for the following day. Bring everyone on the hiring panel — alignment up front saves a week later.

Step 3 · Brief + onboarding

A real brief, not a job description.

Before the kickoff, you fill out a short form right inside Sprout. The most useful question:

  • 3 ideal candidates. Describe them. Why each is a fit. What you'd offer them inside your comp band.
  • 2 candidates who look right but aren't. And why they're a no for you. This is what calibrates our filter.

Step 4 · Kickoff call

Live calibration on real candidates.

On the call, we surface what the form didn't:

  • Live reactions. We share a few non-vetted candidates and capture your gut takes.
  • Borderline cases. We share a few we passed on and check our rationale matches yours.
  • Cadence. Pick a weekly 20-min sync day. Confirm feedback turnaround.
  • The details. Comp range, 90-day goals, interview loop, urgency, hours, remote/hybrid.

Step 5 · Three-week cadence

Two batches a week. Live feedback loop.

Most searches close inside three weeks on this rhythm:

  • Monday eveFirst batch of candidates.
  • TuesdayYou send feedback.
  • Tuesday sync20-min weekly touchpoint.
  • Thursday eveSecond batch of candidates.
  • FridayYou send feedback (async).

Candidates land in your ATS as "Sourced by Sprout" with screening notes attached, plus a Slack ping with the highlights. Reply in either — we keep them in sync.

Three weeks, three milestones.

  • Day 0Contract signed, $500 deposit, Slack Connect opened.
  • Day 1Kickoff call. We align on 3 ideal candidates and 2 who look-right-but-aren't.
  • Week 1You meet at least 3 candidates from the first batch.
  • Week 23–4 first interviews booked with the strongest. Second-round batch sent.
  • Week 3Offer extended to at least one candidate.
  • +90 daysIf the hire doesn't stick, we run the search again on us.
